IXONIA FIREMAN’S HALL
The hall built in 1949, is a part of Ixonia history.
Chivaree on Park – located in Ixonia at N8345 Park Street - occupies the former Ixonia Fireman’s Hall (IFD) building. The firefighters, town volunteers, and the hall they built in 1949, became a part of Ixonian family history. For over seventy years, the building continues as venue home to community events, social gatherings, Sunday polka dances and weddings.
A historic FIREMAN’S HALL gets a signature REDESIGN
In 2018, renowned floral and bridal designer Kristy Kimball brought together the premier services of Oconomowoc-based Modern Bloom to create impeccable events at the historic venue. Paying homage to the hall’s past, Kimball, who redesigned the interior spaces, preserved many of the 1940's vintage details that upheld its nostalgic allure, including the iconic built-in-stage, exposed, high beam ceilings, industrial wall sconces and original maple dance floor.
A Nostalgic Venue, Reinvented.
Chivaree on Park - named to honor the hall’s roots of celebration, officially opened October 13, 2018. The iconic venue, beautifully restored to its original grandeur, now reinvented with a contemporary design. The stunning blend of industrial and vintage-glam design elements create a unique and elegant atmosphere.
